Bro. Allan Freeman's 102nd Birthday
Happy Birthday Bro Freeman!
On Friday, September 22nd, 2023, Bro. Allan Freeman celebrated his 102nd birthday. Not only the oldest Mason in Newfoundland and Labrador, initiated at Twillingate Lodge No. 2364 on April 1st, 1945, Bro. Allen is also the longest serving Mason in the province! Brethren from Twillingate and Gander lodges joined him for wine and cake at Oram's Bethesda Manor 2, Gander, and were treated to some great jokes, tales, and a recitation by Bro. Allan of the poem "The 10 Stages of Life" to which he received a rousing round of applause.
The manor later had live entertainment for Allan and all the residents who were celebrating birthdays in September. It was a great afternoon of fraternity and we all wish Bro. Allan a happy and healthy year ahead.
We also extend a special thank you to Janice, Entertainment Director at the manor, for being so helpful and accommodating.
