Hodge (1881-1963) was initiated into the Lodge on 2 March, 1902. He was honoured in being appointed DG Steward (Past Rank) in 1952. Bro. Hodge was a noted businessman at Twillingate, assuming full control of the family fish merchanting company, along with his brother, when their uncle retired in 1918. The siblings operated Hodge Brothers until they passed away in the same year. Arthur Hodge acted as the firm’s business office manager and express agent. Bro. Hodge was a director of the local Memorial Hospital Association as well.
